I have a 2004 Pagsta 49cc motorcycle. I know it's a scooter, but it has all the gears and levers just like a full sized bike so its an easy bike for my very short girlfriend to learn on. Anyway it has an idle issue. It wants to race and then sputter out. 15mm carb with 2 screws. I've fiddled with them to no avail. I can get it to idle, but after a short trip its back to sputtering out. Also, if you know the maintenance procedures or specs, any of them, please relay them here.

I want to get a scooter, maybe a Vespa or a Yamaha Vino. I don't have a drivers liscence to drive a car, but could I just get a motorcycle lisence without having a car lisence? I really dont see the need for me to get a Lisence for a car, I really have no desire to drive a car, i just really want a scooter so I can kick it around town. This would either be for Pennsylvania, where my home is, or in DC, where i go to school.

I'm looking for an enclosed scooter or motorcycle, preferable one with a safety cage or roll bar already built in. I would be more than happy with a motorcycle or scooter that did not have a cabin, but did have a roll cage and seatbelts to protect the rider in case of a lay down.
